Up & At Em!!!

well...it is now 6:10am..and I have already worked out. I am now getting ready for work. I did too many squats..as I feel it in my knees. I need to take my glucosamine and chondrotin. I think I'm gonna try a leg work out I saw in Oxygen for people with knees like mine. I won't hurt myself..but I'm not letting it deter me either. I feel good after my workout this morning. I hope to keep up my energy and pace cause I have a long day ahead of me.

Fitness tip of the day:Gladware your fridge. Try pre-packaging your snacks and meals. Keep fruits and veggies, cut to sizes and at the ready for snacking. Or even use the glad ware to pre create a meal plan.

Keeping Focused

I'm making a renewed effort to keep focused. In starting a new job..I have focused strictly on that, and have let my health and weight concerns slip...So in order to remedy that, I am going to start carrying my workout mags to work with me.. Keeping them around is my reminder to stay focused during lunchtime , so I won't buy anything that may derail my efforts.Today..I totally focused and created a plan to get back in HIGH gear..since my workouts have been sporadic. I am feeling really good about it too.

New Job, New Discoveries.


Hey Bloggers....

How have all of you been?I have been so-so. I started my new position..and let's just say..my hours are ALL OVER THE PLACE...which of course..has made me completely fall off of my workouts.And then..my eating habits have suffered as well. As most of you know I work for a bank..and well..I was promoted in position..but I was moved to a very busy branch inside a SUPERMARKET!...and even thou I take my lunch on some days..the temptation to buy is always THERE. My co workers keep junk around..And of course..there is no Curves right across the street..so my mid day workout is GONE!

ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!

But I have gotten a bit of a a grip. I had been having the worst time getting up in the morning to workout.. I can go to bed early..get the full eight hours...and STILL not be able to get up. But then Sunday night..I tried something...My hubby keeps the house HOT during the cooler months...and well..I turned the heat down one night..cause I felt it was making me so listless and hard to wake...well..on Monday the 19th..not only did I get up NO PROBLEM 5 minutes BEFORE my alarm clock was set to go off at 4:30 am...but I did my 45 minute workout ALL the way through..which I hadn't been able to accomplish since we got our first cool fall day here in Michigan.And for the rest of the day I felt GREAT. So ladies..I suggest turning down the heat in your home...if your body is already warm...you'll have nothing to work up to...and it will be tougher...I finally discovered that..and I am so happy that I did.

As you all know... I am a big fan of Oxygen Magazine ... Check out the December 2007 issue.I have completely given up on "Fitness" & "Shape" magazines...And I am on a personal campaign to get more of us reading "Oxygen"..cause I love that the focus is on STRENGTH & HEALTH and not on "SKINNY & THIN"...I'm sorry...but Kelly Ripa & Angie Harmon are not realistic goals that can inspire me. Strong healthy bodies like Jelena Abbou are not only beautiful...but strong and powerful. So I urge all of you to pick up the Oxygen ...it is awesome.

Please wish me luck in my getting back on track. I am about to do my workout, since I go in late today...I hope all of you are doing well..and I will stop in on your blogs soon.

I'm Back..Finally

Hey bloggers...how are all of you?

Well as you can see, I fell off my blogging for a little while. Just to catch you up to speed..I have done my Curves workout everyday..but not much else. My eating habits got a little twisted during my monthly cycle..and I have been preparing for my move with my promotion. So I have been busy.

But Today..I've been on the move. I did my 20 minute turbo jam workout...I normally don't work out on Sunday's..but Since my Curves workout in the middle of the day will NOT be an option with my promotion..I have to start getting back to my regular mornings and evening workouts.

Right now I'm feeling good and ready for anything. I hope my training at work doesn't throw me too off this week. But either way..I am still being active in my efforts to drop weight..my last Curves repot card was better than the first..no MAJOR losses..just tiny steps that give me more to focus on.

I hope all of you are reaching your health and fitness goals. focused. I believe in all of you.
