Kissing 2007 GoodBye!!!

Well everyone...the end of another year is upon us. It's time to say goodbye to all that we accomplished..and all where we fell short. As you all know. My struggle with my weight brought me to blogging. I wanted some accountability from others. And you all have helped me so much. Although I fell short of my weight and fitness goals..I gained so much in friendships, encouragement , strength , and character. No Seriously. I may not have reached my dream of being as fit and as strong as my girl Maggie Diubaldo.

But I have learned so much about what I can do, and what I am capable of. I never at any time thought I could run a block without keeling over and dying. And this year, I ran 1 and a half mile. That is saying something. I plan on improving on that as well.

Now I'm not big on "RESOLUTIONS"..cause they can so fall by the wayside, and I beat myself up for it. But I am making extra efforts to try to eat healthier. My hubby told me he wanted to buy a Juicer...I was of course thrilled. I had been wanting and planning on buying one..but now that I know he wants it..I'll be getting it a little sooner. Which of course makes me happy. I mean..I have three smoothie recipe books just sitting on the shelf in my kitchen. Time to put those babies to use.I scanned them so any of you interested can run out and get them. If you can't see the titles and authors Here they are.
"Super Smoothies" By Mary Corpening and Sara Corpening Whiteford

"Juice" By Pippa Cuthbert & Lindsay Cameron Wilson

"Smoothies For Life" By Daniella Chace & Maureen B. Keane

If you all would like. I could scan in some of the recipes for you. I am doing my research on what would be the best Juicer for me to buy. There is so much to consider. Price, efficiency , easy clean up, extraction , production, watts, rpms. I've got my work cut out.

I really am looking forward to 2008. A possible upstart to my husbands business venture may be happening. And I'm so happy for him, cause he has worked so hard for it. And he deserves this . He is really focused on improving his body and his health as well. Plus I am doing well..at least so far in my new position. And the earning potential is quite great. Part of what I want to do is start saving for those trips abroad that I have always wanted.

Okay..these are seriously starting to sound like the dreaded "RESOLUTIONS". I guess it is what it is. I guess the the phrase "New Year" just has quite the ring to it that you can't help but feel like you have some what of a clean slate. Well if that's how I'm feeling. I intend to use it.

I want to wish all of you a wonderful and prosperous New Year. And I look forward to seeing all you in your efforts for continued health and fitness in your lives.

Hey Ladies & Workout Enthusiasts

Hey all..I've been away. Working ya know. Training and such for the position I got..My workouts have suffered...but my spirits are high. My workouts aren't as frequent..so when I get to them..they are more intense. I'm seriously considering doing "The Master Cleanse" diet...I really like the idea of getting out all the junk out of my system. I'm sure I could lose some water weight. I know it will never substitute for a good cardio session, or a kick ass weight spell. But I think it could be a very good contribution to my body.

I'll let ya know.

Ohh..also..pick up the January 2008 issue of Oxygen..A lot of people make resolutions for the upcoming year..I don't do that..but maybe getting some ideas of what to add to your regime can get you and ME into a "PLAN AHEAD" mode...

Good Luck everyone. I'll be in touch.
