Obviously...EVERYTHING is TOO high. So...I won't set goals. What I will do is monitor my progress.

New Tools
Hello Bloggers.
Well..I have some new tools in my arsenal to help me in my quest to get in shape.
1~ New Mattress- I was having some serious back pain from sleeping on a very soft old mattress. I resorted to sleeping on the floor until I got a new one. My new one is very firm and my back feels a little better. But admittedly, I am still having back pain. But not as bad. I plan on going to get an exam to reassure my hypochondriac mind that my kidneys aren't malfunctioning. Since kidney disease runs in the family. I figure it will be better safe than sorry.
2~ Digital Scale- I bought a scale. I am ready to see the actual number sin regards to my weight loss. I also like that it has your measurements for not just weight...but for Body fat Weight, Body fat %, Body Water % & Bone mass %.

3~
ChaLEAN Extreme- Yes I am upping the ante on the
workouts I need more weight training in my regimen . My BFF's sister has been doing it and she is really losing . So I think it may work for me.
So I am about to post my new pictures. I haven't gained any weight back, and I can still fit my size 8 pants. But the toning I had achieved is back soft again. So I' am ready to up the ante on making it happen .

It's Been A While
And Yes... I have been sli
I am slowly but surely becoming a "Runner".. no not a sprinting supersonic Usain Bolt runner. But I have been able to run non stop for longer distances. I can now run a mile without stopping for breaks in between. . That seemed like something impossible to me ..but I am finally at that milestone. I am now running a mile and then walking a mile every other day. I am trying to build that run up to twomiles. So We will see where that goes.
I have not regained any weight. I can still fit my size 8 pants. I just have to up the ante on making the 8's too big. They are not difficult to get into either.
As you all know.. Our Fabulously Fit First Lady Michelle Obama has many of us trying to get those perfectly defined arms..and I am no exception, as I have always wanted fabulous arms..but the pressure is on more now that there is an awesome example to live up to.They are perfect. They aren't to skinny, they are perfectly defined m as they show her muscle tone without her losing any element of her female physique. They are just fabulous. Admittedly , I don't have bad arms..They aren't anywhere near the first ladies fabulous arms, and they need some work. But I have always been self concious and very happy that I could wave to someone from afar, and not have to worry about possibly taking flight from the momentous flap wave coming from the tricep.
Also..I made up for not being around by posting my regular scas of "Health", "Clean Eating" & of course my favorite "OXYGEN" magazines.. If you can't find them in your stores , just make sure you visit the websites , or subscribe to them.
So that's it for now. No I am not posting pics..because admittedly I have NOT been on my ab work and I have lost some of the definition that I had gained, and I am embarrassed to aknowledge that in and of itself..But I won't furthermy humiliation by actually posting pics of it. It makes me want to cry.
But instead of crying and whining..I'm getting off the pc and I'm off to work out.. Abs arms and cardio today.

Hope Springs Eternal
Hey bloggers and fellow weight loss hopefuls . I just had to come and post some pics of me in my new ..Get this..



SIZE 8 Jeans....
I feel so good...because I am FINALLY out of the double digit pant sizes... There is no struggle to squeeze into them...no struggle to button or zip... Just...up zip and snap...
Okay... I have hope...I truly have hope that my thighs will finally not be in constant contact.
My next goal is to make these pants to big...I see a size 7 in my future...

Sorry This Is Late
Hey All....Sorry these are late. I've been busy, and embarrassed by my lack of progress... But what can I say..

The Front


Well.... I am losing weight. I recently bought a size 8 pant...after wearing 10's & 12's for about 10 years now. My goal is to make the 8's to big now. I have a spring jacket that even with a t-shirt was uncomfortable
and small...and now I can put it on, zip it closed and still have room to move...
The Sides
I can see the little bit of definition coming into my midsection..but I have to really refine my diet and diet down , because I am having an issue with burning off the layer of fat that is there. It's still lumpy and bumpy even though I'm getting slimmer...And that is bothering me. But I'm gonna make it happen.
I'm getting stronger...because now I can do..1...yes 1 chinup.. The weight lifting is helping...and I'm sure that it helps that there is less of me to lift
My goal
is to be able to do 10 by the end of April.


I joined BODYBUILDING.COM..Today, I'm going to buy a tape measure and a scale...and I'm going to really start to monitor and journal what I eat. Here's a great site for that.. NUTRIMIRROR

A Happy Day
Okay..I had been feeling down the last few days. Quite lethargic actually.. So I am apprehensive about my progress and posting my pics in March. But something occurred today that has renewed my vigor in regards to the progress I am making...
I DID ONE CHIN UP TODAY!
I know you are thinking...WHAT? Just ONE?...She is not seriously happy about that...
Well yes I am... I have tried for years to do one full chin up and my upper body strength was just NOT THERE!... So to be able to do one is quite the accomplishment in my eyes.. I am so happy and so proud of myself.
Now I need to work up to be able to do at least 5 in a row. I don't know how long it will take..But I will get there.

A Decision Made
Well..as you all know. I was going to try to work up the strength to start P90X in March. But I can't get through Turbo Jam's "Turbo Sculpt" with my pair of 8 pound dumbbells...the weight jump is just too much for my strength level. So I'm going to hold off. I ordered myself a pair of 6 pound dumbbells . I will continue to do the work out with the 5 pounds until the new ones arrive. I will have to gradually increase the weight . It only makes proper sense to not try to push it. Cause I get easily discouraged when I feel like I PUNK OUT.
